    It wasn't from Humax direct but a company called stockmustgo. I think it's been a return as it was boxed and all cables etc were in sealed bags. They've agreed to take it back and either replace or refund.

    Ah. I see. I understood this to mean that you had been in touch with Humax and they suggested you returned it to them, not a third party seller. Silly me.

    Past experience is that Humax won't take any responsibility for anything purchased via ebay.

    I'm not surprised. I was just a bit confused. They (Humax) obviously suggested that Norrie return it to his supplier.
