Good on Humax for fixing the Edimax dongle issue. As they have never guaranteed compatibilty with the Edimax dongles they were under no obligation to do so.

    Yep. Commendable.

Given I've had no real issues with the previous update and the only thing this latest update will provide are icons I can't see, I think I will simply wait for the official OTA or via the Internet update to happen.

Now I know what the Queen of Hearts is doing I think I'll do the opposite.

    Seems sensible given your circumstances.

Just when I thought all was well, I had a lock-up last night. Picture froze, sound continued, no response to remote. I had to power cycle to re-gain control. Sounds familiar?

    This from a reliable source:

Some boxes, despite upgrading to 2.02.46 may still have corrupt data stored...

A factory reset will totally clear the cache of all data - you will have to wait approx 20 mins for the On Demand, Catch up TV logo and channel logos to populate, but then should no longer experience the reboot issue.

Note: A factory reset will delete timers and any user settings you may have altered, so make a note.

Thanks Barry, I'll give it a go. So far, it's only happened once whilst two recordings were in progress. Fingers crossed!

Icons are back today, haven't done anything to the box and I hope I don't have to now! Well done to everyone who has bought pressure to bear to get things sorted out.
