    Hi Guys,
I hope you are all keeping well.

I have two 4000T machines - in use. 1 in my lounge and 2 in my sick room (disabled pensioner)on a BT HomeHub 5.

A couple of days ago, my electric was turned off by a plumber working in the kitchen.
The following day, I noted that my 1 set was showing - no connection. I wanted to check something else on my phone, and couldn't log on.
It wasn't until I went to bed, that I noticed set 2 wasn't connected either.

The following morning, I checked that the router was working, and On, which it was. I pressed the Wifi button on the side.
My phone now connected and set 2.
I expected set 1 to be likewise connected, but it wasn't.
As set 1 and my phone are connected, I deduced that the problem must lay with set 1 (or the user !?). I tried to input the password again (not quite recalling which password on the Humax slide was for this purpose ?) so I guess this is why this set won't connect

When this first occurred, I tried to find my router on the local list, & there it was, ticked.
    On checking the Network Connection Status and it looked ok (to me); apologies for blurriness - it's my OnePlus 3 phone's fault !?);
    Wireless connection - OK
    Internet - OK
    IP address - 192.168.1.67.
It also says Connected at kick off.

Before I input more passwords, can anyone spot my problem please ?

This will almost certainly require the old faithful.
Unplug everything, wait, power up router, connect with phone to check its running, power up Humii (that's the plural of Humax, honest guv).

Many thanks mate - that did the trick.

I did remove the power plug to the unit about half way through the 'sorting', to Noah Vale.

Anyway, I'm now a hoppy bunny.

    stay safe friend

Was the box recording when you tried to configure the WiFi? Some settings are greyed out whilst recording although I can't see why that should include WiFi. If that isn't the case, have you tried putting the FVP into standby and then turning the electrical power off for 30s and trying the WiFi configuration again?

Hi Martin, no the box was not recording, I have 2 photos of the TV screen, I will try what you have suggested in a short while.
    Thanks
