    I am not sure you can give the box a fixed IP address.

    So when you say fixed IP address, are you saying that you have put a reservation in the DHCP server or have somehow set the box to Fixed.

    Have a look into your network settings in the system information.
    Does it say DHCP and what is the ip address, has it got one.

    The unit can be set to a fixed IP but an address reservation on your router is a better way.
    The unit will offer a fixed setting only if it is unable to obtain one via DHCP. Turn off the DHCP server and select "connect automatically".

    If 901 does not function, then it suggests you do not have internet connectivity. Can you ping the unit from your LAN? If so check the DNS and gateway settings.
