Spike.Another hmmm...I've posted earlier on this as have the intermittent pink screen on power on.However my box has powered off twice this evening--the last was about 10 minutes ago at 2120.The box came back again without pink screen but seems ver coincidental and unexplained.

Yesterday I pressed standby on my HDR1000S (by accident) and then back on again almost immediately. Got the pink screen thing again. To start with it was just a pure pink screen with nothing on it. After a few standby off/on cycles I got the same effect I've seen before, and took a photo which I have attached. You can see the pink hue and also that the welcome screen part is not where it should be.
Eventually, after a couple of complete power cycles it returned to normal.
I'm not raising this as an issue, I just wanted to show you an example of what sometimes happens and point out that it's not to do with any connectors etc, just seems to be power related.| Mon 14 Nov 2016 13:24:42 #15 | -
ok, just seen the file size limit. I can't get it down to that, so forget it (mod - delete these posts if you like)

ok - I think this is the best I can get it down to

I get the same effect as Grahams picture, Pink screen, menu smaller and in the L/H side top of screen
I've been in touch with Humax, but they want to blame everyone else. I have tried 3 cables so far, I used another telly with the same intermittent results.HDMI works OK for all my other connections without faults at all. This is now the second machine with the same problem. they have indicated that they will not exchange another if this so called fault turns up again.I am awaiting contact from them to try a new machine!!! Turning off and disconnecting for a min of 10 seconds resolves the problem for the time being. However the fequency of the fault appearing is increasing.| Sat 9 Sep 2017 13:07:20 #19 | -
