Can anyone say if the update has made it more responsive to the remote?

RM-L03 here...I've the L03 remote and think mine is a tad quicker or maybe i've just forgotten what slow looks like...
Surely the processor denotes how fast it is not the remote.
Does the 5000 have a faster processor than the 4000?| Wed 21 Feb 2018 23:24:39 #47 | -
No, an unresponsive remote would be because of bad programming. Although a faster CPU often negates bad programming, it would be possible to fix laggy remotes with a software update

To those of you with a FVP 4000T.
Update is planned for FVP 4000T to bring it into line with functions as on FVP 5000T.
Currently info is for a phased roll out starting as soon as final validation tests are completed - probably next week. Version number 1.03.39Do you have any idea how long it will take to roll out the new software to all of the boxes, Barry? Is there a specific order in which it is rolled out, e.g by serial number or location, or is it random batches?
Mine was one of the first to be done, but my parents bought an FVP4000T earlier this week, and despite it uploading new software during set-up they are still on the old version and checking for new software finds nothing.
It does make it a little harder for me to explain, via video, how to operate the box, when we are both on different versions.

I think my contact must be away as I have received no response as yet to my query re when update will be available to all which I submitted as soon as mine updated.
I'll ask again.
