Is it possible to put "pad" time in recordings, i.e if a programme starts 2 minutes late I lose the end of the programme. Is there a way round this

Usually leaving it on Auto sorts out such instances. Setting padding is allowed, but not recommended here.

Settings - PVR Settings - Recording options

Only available globally, not for individual recordings.

If you don't have padding that shouldn't happen on channels that use accurate recording. Please can you give some examples where you have lost the end of the recording (Channel, time, date , name of programmes).
