    Hello,
last week my remote control started to play up and when I pressed any button the box was slow to respond, so I changed the batteries but no good this did not fix the issue, so I reset the remote control after I had done this the remote control does not turn the FVP 5000T box at all,

I brought a replacement remote control but still have the same issue the remote control will not turn the FVP5000T box on.

I have a BT YOUVIEW box and the remote control for the FVP5000T
box will turn the BT YOUVIEW box on.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Try disconnecting the box from the mains electricity supply for a few minutes. It may help.

Perhaps you had changed the remote control mode for the FVP so that it didn't interfere with the Youview box, see this link for instructions https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/multi-code-function-fvp-remote

    Hello
I will unplug the box from the mains and leave the box overnight.
Also how do you change the remote control mode if the remote control does not turn the box on.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

Have you tried switching it on with the button on the top surface of the box?

I've a Humax FVP 5000, all functions on the remote control work except on/off, I have to press the button on the machine. The batteries are OK.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
