When my DLNA won’t connect I go into the menu and press the restart button
    and that fixes it

Hi Everyone - thanks for your help with this.

DLNA is turned on, as per attached picture.
All my network sees is per the other picture, on my phone, laptop and wired network.
Also, where is the restart button - I can't find that! (I must be having a bad day!)
If I double click on the Aura icon, then I get the third picture.

Still no FTP or DLNA on any device on the network.

    Painters is my Synology NAS.
The LG is my Sound Bar

    Well.... Here's an update.
Following my experience of how plugging it into my original Sky router caused it to not work, I thought I would do some tests on my network. First of all as previously noted I unplugged my powerline plugs, and that made no difference.
Then I unplugged my Synology NAS, and again that made no difference. Then I unplugged my Vbox Network TV tuner.. And guess what. It worked.
And it was still working this morning, and is still working now.
So it seems that something about the Vbox is causing the problem, even though it uses different ports and is on a different IP address.
So it looks like my Plex server is going to a new Homerun Network TV Tuner, which hopefully won't cause me the same problems.
So, anyway, if everything is still working tomorrow after rebooting everything and leaving it over night, then my problem has been cured.
(Although I did think that getting rid of Sky router would cure my problems !)
Fingers crossed this the final answer to the issues. :D
Again, thanks everyone for you help.

Glad you found the problem. As I stated previously, once the obvious possible errors in setting up FTP are eliminated, it is usually something unusual on the network that is responsible.

Best place for a Sky Router is in the bin, in my mind. Only exception might be Q, of course.
I use an antenna-d aftermarket router. Always works great.
