Ive been looking back to these posts from time to time. I have a (UK) HB-1100S that was hit with the Youtube Search and failing back button problem months ago.
Could someone please let me know, is this supposed to be fixed now or not?
I've emailed Humax support a few days ago but as of yet I've not had a reply.
I checked for updates on the HB-1100S but it says there are none, and the software on the support page of their site appears to be older than the version on my system which is - "UKSFAC 3.00.96" and the App - "web_20210210_00_RC01"
Is this supposed to be fixed now, or at least a fix available?
    Thanks

    Have you read This Post

OK, thanks Barry, I'll PM you for info.

It just strikes me odd that Humax, if they have a patch, don't seem to want to release it. Its not even on their website as far as I can tell.

    Anyway, thanks for your assistance.

When I looked this morning my FVP-5000T had updated overnight to the 13 JAN 2021 firmware. The YouTube search function is now working properly. The downloadable firmware on the Humax support site is still the 25 APR 2019 version, which is now two versions behind the general release.

    Q. What is worse than a manufacturer having no support web site?
    A. A manufacturer having a support web site that is hopelessly out of date!

Well my fvp5000t still not updated and had no reply to my query to Humax asking them if they could send me the software so I can manually update. Anyone know how they choose which machines to update first? Is it by serial number? Also, do I need to leave my machine in any particular standby state for the update to happen overnight, and if I miss the overnight update because my machine is in use in the early hours, will the Check For New Software then find it?

Mine updated the other day without me taking any action to set it going. I don't know exactly when it took place. It could have been in the daytime while it was switched out of standby but I was not looking, or during the night when it is left in normal standby.

I have the same problem with YT on my FVP 5000T and tried a manual update a couple of hours ago, but there was no update and the YT is the same as it was. The Software Build date is 12 JUN 2020. Will it update if I leave it switched on overnight or what am I doing wrong?

It is a phased rollout so you just need to be patient. Our box updated itself without any intervention 2 days ago.

As Martin says, you need to be patient. However, if by "switched on" you mean not unplugged from the mains, then yes you need it to be left in standby when not in use.
