HDR_1100s. I have tried all avenues in updating this freesat box. I downloaded the update onto my computer, I then formatted a usb stick and copied the update file on to it. I turned my freesat box off at the wall, left it for 30 secs. plugged in my usb stick, turned on the power again, held the down arrow on top of the box and waited. Nothing happened.I then tried 3 different usb sticks, all to no avail. I also tried just inserting the usb stick and turning in the standby button. That didn't work. Can any-one help please.

What file system is the USB stick using (FAT32, NTFS etc)? What type of partition table does it have (MBR,GPT)?

Thanks for your replies. The file name is:hdr1100s_upgrade_3.00.98.hdf. The usb stick was formatted to fat32. I don't know what you mean by partition table though. The update was downloaded from humax themselves together with instructions on how to install it. Hope this is helpful to you..

Did you rename the file before attempting update?

(The one I sent you the link to via PM did not need renaming)
