Hi there
Same issues as reported many times previously i was able to sort the
YouTube search problems by resetting the app but that no longer works
So i want to ask having an HDR-1100S box is there a fix available that
does not require me to have a USB stick kicking around.??
As well i dont have one handy at the moment nor did it say on the box
that one would ever be required to fix the TV apps that came with the
Freesat box when bought.
Regards
Ok so i guess there is no fix for this from humax!! you'd think it would be
easy enough to either send it via the sat signal or since the box is internet
connected that way at least.
Oh well i'll make sure to buy nothing that says humax on it going forward.
as i said in another thread unlike today the ole days were better you only needed a TV + VCR they always worked for ya and everything that was worth watching was on the five free channels.
Total waste of my time joining up here!!!

Why was it a total waste of time? You have an answer to your issue even if it is not the answer you were hoping for. This forum has helped me with a few issues I have had with Humax devices and the information I have found here I has been very useful, I am sure you will find the same if you hang around long enough to find out. You also might be able to help others as many members here do ...

A USB stick can be purchased for a couple of pounds (or borrowed for nothing). In the time it took you to throw your toys out of the pram and type your reason, you could have sorted yourself out.
Thanks to everyone for input.
Can somebody please confirm the firmware version that includes the fix please?
Cheers
Stuart
The Humax website offers this version as the latest:
Software Details
• Application version : UKSFAC 3.00.94
• Loader version : UKSFAC 1.00
• Update date : 07 FEB 2018
• Micom version : 1.10
• System id : 809C.7D11
So my fallback actually would rewind me back to before the version I'm on now.
And Humax Customer Support emailed this:
Good Afternoon,
Firstly I offer my sincere apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
We had partially released a fix for the Youtube search issue back in January but unfortunately customers had reported back it hadn't solved the problem, we went back and have been reworking the fix to over come this and it is due to be released very soon, I don't have an exact ETA at the moment in time.
Best Regards,
Ted

I think support are confusing the 4000/5000T update that did indeed need a tweak and the freesat fix which has worked for over 60 members who have asked me for the software, not one report of issues received.
