help - unable to use ondemand or showcase

    I put on my Humax box tonight and it connected by itself to the internet. Then I checked the On Demand and its working.

    Earlier this afternoon my OnDemand was working, but Showcase wasn't.
    And this evening Showcase is working, but OnDemand isn't working.

    For those still having problems with on demand/showcase try this.

    Leave unit on a BBC HD channel for 30 minutes then reboot unit.

    Let us know if this is successful or not for you.

    How widespread is this on demand / showcase problem? I bought a 1010s at the weekend and it has the behaviour described here out of the box. My inclination is to return it as faulty but I'm not sure a replacement will be any better.

    Are you trying the workaround suggested by Barry? Come back in 30 mins and let us know if it worked.

    Hi Barry

    Tried it and still get On Demand and Showcase demanding Broadband connection after 30 mins plus on BBC 1 HD. Any other suggestions

    Can you confirm you rebooted after 30 minutes elapsed.
