    Seems to.

The main thing I noticed is I no longer get the "no signal" message when rapidly changing channels.

Ok. I’ve lowered signal strength. Nothing scientific. Just lowered to about 50 odd %. Still 100% quality. So far no picture breakup nor picture pause. Shame I paid twice the price for an attenuator than others! I wonder how many people have returned it due to picture pausing/breakup? Not really Humax’s fault but then people would naturally expect it to work straight out of the box. I’m happy with the box itself and pleased that this attenuator has, I hope, fixed the picture issue.

Hi, new here with an Aura recently bought. I am getting consistent picture break up and freezing and loss of sound - most noticeable on SKY news ch 233 and 5usa . On sky news this morning, i thought i would check the signal quality and strength using the settings on the aura menu - but it only shows tuner 1 - CH36 (i am on ch233 so maybe another channel - newbie?) but the signal is 100 quality is 60 . I go to BBC1 - goo pix and sound - - its channel 1 on the guide - go to settings - shows tuner 1 channel 47 - signal 100, quality 89. is there anything I should be doing or I am missing the plot here ? Thanks in advance

Channel 36 refers to the UHF carrier channel (MUX) that logical channel (Lcn) 233 is using. There will be other channels on the same mux.

What transmitter are you tuned to ?

    Channel 36 has other channels

BBC 1 on your transmitter uses UHF 47 for the PSB1 Mux.

Does not look like you are tuned to Oxford.

PSB 1 is on UHF 55.

    Fill in your details here

    http://www.wolfbane.net/cgi-bin/tvd.exe?

Have a look at the signal strength on UH55 DVB-T using the Aura manual tune option
