In the past week my HDR keeps turning itself off & back on again. I have done a factory re-set & checked the firmware. Just watching TV seems Ok but if you try & watch a recording or I player it only works for about 10mins or so before re-booting. If you delete a recording then it cuts off straight away.
I will contact Human tomorrow but anyone got any thoughts what the problem might be?
Had it over a year & until now not had a single problem

Welcome to our Forum
Moved your post to thread already open on subject.
As you can see numerous users reported the issue, and freesat advice is to perform 2 factory resets:

Will give humax a call in the morning, so frustrating!I really don't know why we are suddenly getting all these issues and why Freesat are so slow to react. I had another reboot last night. Again I was watching On-Demand although the box was recording something else at the time so that takes us no further forward.
I unpaired that Freesat app months ago as I didn't want my box waking up every twenty minutes, so that can't be the issue. In fact I now no longer have the app on my phone.

We have the same reboot issue with our 1010s. It's been going on for 10 days. I little bit of contact by email with free sat but no results. As the help page suggests, better sit tight as they are on it, if not like a car bonnet

My 1100s also rebooted last night. I starting recording ITV HD and then I pressed record on BBC1 HD. I then cancelled the BBC1 HD one recording as I expected it to prompt for a series link (I'm used to a Sky box which manages this a little better) but it didn't. I then used the EPG to find the program and click OK on it to see if that prompted for the series link. It didn't, so I just set it to record again and it rebooted...
Not major but annoying as it lost a few mins of the recording on ITV HD as well.
As an aside - should the 1100s prompt for a series link if you press OK in the EPG to record a program already started? Doesn't offer series link option to me on the few times I have done it.

If you highlight a programme in the epg, look at the top for the icons. The prescence of a series crid is shown by a cascading series of small rectangles.
You can't set a series recording when the programme has already started. In this case the recording takes place from the time shift buffer so there is no access to the original crid codes.
