    BBC 1 SD.
    Strength is. 71%
    Quality is. 100%

OK that is perfectly acceptable. I am struggling to understand the problem. Have you spoken to the aerial installer?

I know you mentioned in your first post about switching Transmission between DVB-T and DVB-T2 when manually tuning SD and HD channels on your 5000T.
Are you remembering to do this for mux. 35 which is your HD channel/ multiplex.

When you had the aerial 'professionally' installed did you not check that all channels SD and HD had been tuned in?

When the aerial was installed the coaxial was plugged directly into the TV so yes everything including HD was there.
I then plugged the coax into the in on the humax and then another coax from the out on the humax to the TV.

Therefore, directly I have everything but the humax does not find HD so now both the TV and humax do not have HD.

I don't know what or how to do mux 35?
The aerial installer was professional but FOC via a friend which is why I don't really feel I can ring him, besides it all works direct into the TV

Ah we thought you knew because you talked about changing the transmission type.

Go to channel settings; select Manual Channel Search, enter the channel number as 35, set the transmission type to DVB-T2 and make sure Network search is off and see what it comes up with.

Follow Martins instructions for manually tuning to mux/ Channel 35 changing Transmission from DVB-T to DVB-T2.
you should then see the Signal Strength and Quality meters populate.

If you successfully get your HD Channels they will appear in the 100's in your EPG.

Absolutely certain that Winter Hill is your best transmitter for your location?

Just to confirm when you go to Manual Channel Search select Channel 35, change Transmission to DVB-T2
the Signal Strength and Quality meters do not populate.
It may take a few seconds for them to populate so be patient.
Can you take a picture of your screen and post the jpeg back here.

It is interesting that if the aerial is connected directly to the TV you get HD Channels.
Please ensure the aerial when connected to the 5000T is firmly seated, and keep the HDMI cable clear
    of the aerial cables.

    I am a bit stuck.
