Many thanks for your speedy reply.
TBF I haven't tried "rebooting" yet.
I kinda panicked as the wife was moaning she couldn't record a film she want's tro see lol
I will go through your recommendations and get back.
    Thanks again
    Bob

    Hi Bob,

No problem. As with all PVRS, this is what I would do first. They all have their "moments". It might be simple fix or if not the Hard drive needs looking at. Please let forum know how you get on. Good luck! John L

Epg is slow to load on first boot of the day.

Overnight housekeeping deletes copy in NVram

Simple fix make the first boot of the day using a Power On Timer Settings General Settings

Channel BBC One HD (fastest mux) say 08:00Volume 50 unless you have changed to avoid volume differences between HD and SD channels

    Repeat Daily

    Save

    Power Off Timer O815 Save

Admin: The whole thread seems to be about a HDR-1100S so not other Humax Products.

    Hi Repassac,

I was answering a query earlier today regarding a 1100S pvr. Glad Bob was able to fix his problem. I think we were on the same topic? All I said was . . . as with all pvrs same fix etc. Unplug/turn on/off etc. Where has the topic gone off track? John L

there is a dedicated thread for the three G2 Freesat smart boxes,

Repassac merely wanted a moderator to move the content of this to the thread for all 3 which are basically the same

    https://myhumax.org/forum/forum/hdr-1000s

Other Freesat boxes is really for posters we get from Germany, Australia etc that have similar but not identical models but with different model numbers that we do not have in the UK.

    Understand Graham.

But isn't that a part of the mods job to relocate posts/threads

Perhaps but users do have to look at the Forum threads before posting in any thread that looks as if it might be close to being relevant. Reading a few postings first should have made it clear that the postings refer in the main to non UK models.
