I have a Humax YouView box and the Aura remote switches it on which is really snnoying. Also I cant get the CEC Volume to work my Samsung TV, even though I have the CEC switch on, also the Aura remote will not switch off the TV. Probably just teething problems but quite annoying

To all those who own this box if you can help me...
    1. When watching live TV, can you go back to the android home screen by pressing back button?
    2. Can you jump forward by 30s/60s etc when viewing a recording by pressing the right control button (rather than fast-forward button)
    3. Can you control the box using for example a universal remote/lg magic remote using hdmi cec? Utilising the Bluetooth rather than ir.
    4. Can you power on and off your TV using the remote without powering off the unit itself?
    5. Has anyone managed to pair this with the lg magic remote,?
Thanks to all and thanks for comments so far. Shame there are not many reviews yet for this from sites or YouTube.. Very strange.

I can answer 3 of those:

    1. There is a Home button on the remote.

    2. Yes see FAQ

    4. Yes, once you have set remote to your TV Brand, instructions are in the manual.

    2. 30 second steps on each press

    4. The separate power button turns my TV ON on its own but if everything is ON then pressing it turns everything OFF, probably HDMI CEC taking control.

I have a Samsung QLED TV that uses a smart remote, it controls my TV, soundbar and my current 5000T. Does anyone know if my Samsung smart remote will also work with the AURA?

Mostly. It will work well if you configure it as a Freeview Humax box (probably the FVP-4000T is chosen) The Recording panel key won't work properly but you can navigate to that from the home screen. There seems to be no way to get to the Freeview Play screen without pressing the Freeview Play button on the original remote

Thanks for this. For number 1,i was thinking more if I was not using the included remote and watching live TV, how to get back to home screen. Like with the remote is it possible to click the back button rather than the dedicated home button to return home?

If I am watching ITV and then change channel to BBC1, if I hit the back button it goes back to ITV, i.e. the previous watched channel. If I want to go to ”home” then the adjacent specific home button has to be used.

I think I saw an option to sort channels manually so I believe so. Not sure if it would survive a rescan or not.

You can also create Favourites so I suppose you could have it sorted that way. All HD channels start in the 100's, so BB1HD is 101, BBC2HD 102 etc etc.
