I hope the Netflix app does not have picture stutter. Any chance they will ever fix the 4000 having stutter in Netflix?

Do you think some of the features in the 5000 software (like list of recordings instead of grid) will be retrofit back to the 4000?

Whilst Graham has linked to one post, be aware of my follow up which is the very latest info from Humax Towers.

    Off Topic for this thread:

Just watched nearly 2 hours of Netflix on a FVP 4000T, no stuttering at all throughout - unit connected to network via powerline adaptor.

Hi, all I'm really interested in getting the FVP5000t.2 tb. on the humax live chat they say that the 500gb & 1tb models will be available in October( I've since found out it's the second week). However they just say the 2tb model will follow. I've been dithering over getting the 4000,2TB. for a few week's. But after following the really helpful links n this forum.
I'm going to go for the 5000t.
However, I'm still attracted to the 2TB model. Is there any way we can find out when the release date for the 2TB model. If it's to far away I'll just go with the 1TB model just as soon as there is some feed back from an owner.
    Many thanks'.

John - I'll try and get a better idea of when 2TB version will be available, no promises that I get anything different to what you already have found out.

The LED is purple during recording on the FVP 5000T, I'll highlight error on website to Humax Towers.

Website now has correct info re LED.

Hardware....if you have original 4000T then just the casing, and LED indicator.

That makes me feel better if the hardware is the same as the FVP-4000T!
