    Try this.
Change the HDMI resolution to Auto. Further down Select Dynamic Refresh Rate Switching. Change the setting to Custom. Change 1080 for live TV to on

I've tried that, well sort of, I've set it to high which does the same setting.

Hasn't cut off yet on the new port, I'll update if it changes again, hard to test with being at work.

You need to turn off MS12 transcoding and reboot.

No it doesn't do the same. The settings I posted are the settings I have which give the best pictures from the Live HD channels. It stops double scaling. Without it the box scales to 2160p. With it The TV gets 1080p and it scales to 2160p.

The scaler in my TV is better than the box.

Live TV is going through at 1080p so that's good.

I have just turned the surround off to disable Dobly incase that's the issue. I'll try the transcoding next time it fails

The audio is now pcm on my tv

Yeah, press info on my LG remote and it tells me the input details, from image to sound. Normally it says Dobly but not now I've disabled it.

Update, the problem has returned, I've tried the ms12 Encoding off and the problem is still there.

Ive now reset my TV to defaults and disabled Startup plus, which is like active standby to see if a full power down will reset he hdmi slots on each boot to allow the handshakes to be more success full.

Support has been back with the usual questions and is now asking if the box is up to date. I believe it is. As it has the auto refresh options.

    Watch this space.

I don't recognise your post in #31. Do you have the custom option in Dynamic refresh options.

What's the date of the update you have in System Information ?

Quick update, failed again after lunch.

I'll get the info later on for the version.
