    I think the point is that if and when a recording reaches its end, the Humax automatically starts playing the next episode in the folder.

    If you want to go forwards in a recording either

    a) press F-FWD button multiple times to cycle through 2x, 4x, 8x, 32x and 64x as fast, or

    b) press UP arrow to highlight the time bar and then press RIGHT arrow. The time marker will quickly move forwards.

    Only If you have series play turned on.

    More often than not I don't have to press anything other than > to get the time bar up and set it running.
