Why is nobody talking about this ?

It's not compatible with my and I'm guessing, most people's phones.

Recently bought the Aura for the ability to set recordings remotely. Without the app I don't believe I can do this. Or is there a workaround ?

Which phone do you have? The aura app works with iOS, and android phones/tablets.

The iOS version is working with the latest version 16.4 beta 2, so perhaps the android app needs to be updated.

I certainly wouldn't rely on it; notify Humax of the problem directly. My impression is that the volume of complaints they get about an issue has some influence on what they are prepared to do about it.

Finally found a valid address and email them.

For a large tech firm, their online presence is awful.

Littered with invalid email addresses and compromised shadow websites. Much of which are set-up for phishing.

Spent an age deleting chinese meal and product websites and emails after an original attempt to contact them.

After having a moan at them I've been offered a beta of the app and an invite to be involved in the review process.

Problem is I'm new to the product and as such, wouldn't know what specific issues the original app might have had.

My only issues at present relate to the remote features. I can can schedule recordings (for individual or series) and that's about it.

Not that I was expecting anything further, as that's basically what my Virgin Media box could do and as such that's fine.

However, I'm now learning that there should be some way of viewing my recorded content on my registered android phone remotely. This I've not yet managed.

What should I be able to do with this magic box that I have yet to master ?

What features regularly fail people ?
