    Searching APKmirror it looks like it's the Android TV Core Services which is the component needing updating to bring the new screen. My TV has 3.0.4-351835047-f and on April 15th 3.1.1-362554353-f was launched. APKMirror doesn't give any indication of the status of the release but I suppose in principle you could sideload v3.1.1... if you wanted to.

    This is very confusing to me now. My box had v3.0.4 and I was able to get the updated UI with the VPN trick. I’ve now factory reset my box and I’ve got v2 of the core services now.

    I've got version 00.09.14 but an update date of Jan 29 2021

    Does that mean I have the latest version, and if not how do I get it? When I check for software updates, I'm apparently up to date.

    Earlier I deleted some recordings & was sometimes asked for the PIN, so I have my suspicions.

    You need to look in Settings > Freeview Play Preference > System Information

    Update Date should be Apr 12, 2021.

    Sure someone has probably asked already but google home page has updated and I seem to be getting disney+ shows advert at the top of the screen. I don't have disney+ so it's irrelevant. Anyone know if this can be changed or removed?
