See bottom of screenI see a slider but no bars or numbers which is what the OP was asking for?
That's because my volume is set to max. It moves down if I reduce the volume. The audio is normally controlled by my AVR remote
All I get it s plus or minus symbol at the right side of the screen.
Sony Soundbar, and the Aura controls the sound not the TV, before the update it did have volume levels now it no longer does.
What about:
#1 Better notifications? I had a Google store app or two that hadn't updated yet (was set to automatic) - Shouldn't these be displayed in the notifications process when apps are updated/ready to be installed?
#2 The Settings > Freeview Menu is poorly laid out - Legal stuff at the top? Really? I don't want to see that kind of thing, that should be at the bottom or in some seperate menu somewhere. Makes more sense to put the 'useful' things at the top of the side bar menu - Maybe that could be thought out a litlte better.
#3 There doesn't seem to be a way to check for a Humax software updates? We can update the remote control software & update Android, but it would be nice to check for a software update from Humax... Or maybe the Android update also updates the Humax software?
Would it be possible for the Android TV screen saver to be used instead of the clock that moves round the screen when pausing TV or recorded playback?
With apps such as Plex when you leave it paused the standard screensaver with the photos shows after the configured time, which looks much better than a black screen with a clock.
Do you mean so it uses your photos in Google Photos for the screensaver? It can already do that. You need to set it in Google's "Home" app on your mobile device. Go to settings > Rooms & Groups > Other cast devices > Aura > Ambient Mode, set it to Google Photos and then choose your albums.
It works on my Shield TV as well, but not my Sony Bravia (as that runs an older Android TV)
