Text button on bottom right of remote doesn't work anyone else have this problem?
TEXT button is for digital text services, but I don't think that they exist anymore, so that would explain the button not doing anything.

The text function is still available from the BBC on other freeview compatible receivers. The announcement that it would cease earlier this year was postponed (again) a couple of days before the last date of cessation.

I know it's still available on bbc 1&2 but button doesn't work at all?

1 - Getting black screen have to switch off to get back!
2 - set to record switch off the deep powered way then it won't switch back on have to switch off at plug!

Should I contact Humaxdirect who I got it off and send back?It takes a while to boot from low power sby. The box gives no clue it's doing anything. If you wait a few minutes it should eventually boot. This is mentioned in the manual.

I don't know why people are saying it takes minutes to boot from deep standby. It doesn't. From pressing power on button mine takes about 50 seconds to be fully operational

There was also a further announcement from the BBC in September that the BBC test services would instead be reduced mid 2021. Therefore I would expect all new freeview boxes, including the Humax Aura, to continue to be able to display the BBC text service.
