Any idea where that would be?

From page 38 of the Product Manual it is in settings under "Channel & Broadcasting".

    Hi all,
I'm sure someone can help, I think I must have turned something on or ticked the wrong box somewhere. But when I delete a recorded programme that has parental guidance icon, it ask me for a password. Can I turn this off??? Pretty sure it didn't used to do this. Thanks

This is a bug, it should ask for your password before allowing you to view the programme.

Just had message box "The box will go into standby in 30 seconds unless button pressed" about 30 mins into a programme. After 4 hours or so it would be reasonable but not after 1/2 hour. Looked in settings to see it was a user setting but couldn't find anything. I assume it's another bug.

Thanks for that. 30 minutes is a stupid default though.

Could anyone answer the following questions, please?
    1. How long does it take for the box to be useable after bringing it out of standby?
    2. How soon can a manual recording be started after bringing it out of standby?

    Depends on standby mode
Active sby very quickly. In full 0.5W sby very slow. Not timed it but it's several minutes.

What is meant by 'active standby'?

Short push off the off button goes to active sby. Long push and Click OK box goes into full low power standby when it can. Hard Disk powers down. It shuts down everything except the recording timer. Power consumption in active sby about 10W, In full sby less than 0.5W

Does that mean that in full low power standby the aerial pass-through is inactive? I wouldn't want to be using 10W 24/7 just to supply an aerial feed to my TV.

No. Aerial pass-through is fine in full low power standby.
