I used to love the BBC but they are getting increasingly exasperating. It’s impossible to report this issue so they will have no idea of how many people are affected. As far as I can tell we are at the mercy of some *expletive deleted* at the BBC who has *expletive deleted* this up and will get promoted for his/her "outstanding" upgrade which has caused this problem. They will say that no-one has logged the issue because they have made it impossible to do so.
Intrigued - why do you think it's the BBC ?
You need to take a deep breath and consider the evidence. Disguised abusive posts are the last things we need here. Admin note, dealt with
Try using the forum search to find the same issue over several years with the latest in October this year.
The BBC have merely acknowledged a known issue with Humax boxes and are looking into it. That's a massive leap to saying they are to blame. It a good thing I guess they are talking to Humax to find the problem.
Personally the evidence in this case points to a Humax issue.
On the previous occasions this has happened, it was a problem with the Humax iplayer servers.
Consider.
Iplayer continues to work absolutely fine on myriads of other non Humax kit.
Smart phones and tablets, smart TV's, PCs, Amazon firesticks and no doubt NOW TV sticks.
Do you not have any other devices that can use BBC iplayer ?
I presume you are using a computer or another device with a web browser to post here.
