It would be nice to see the Aura match many of the features of the ageing Fox T-2. After 2 weeks of ownership I'm missing many of these features.

Can you specify which features in particular you would like to see?

The ability to watch and set recordings from outside home network. For instance, I'm waiting elsewhere such as a hospital bed and want to watch a recorded episode.

You can set recordings remotely with the app. Watching remotely can be done using the Web control interface if you set up port forwarding correctly.

Web Control on 8080 is for testing and techs, not general use. It should be available from the main GUI. As it is, it's buggered. Web Control works over VPN.

I have just successfully connected a pair of Bluetooth headphones to my aura, so am not sure what your issue is?

Edit: I have also connected a Bluetooth speaker without any issues.

I can easily connect to a Bluetooth receiver (avantree Oasis Plus) and plug normal headphones in. However if someone is partially deaf bluetooth audio out to headphones mutes the box hdmi audio out. So you can't all listen in the same room and give a bit of a boost to someone with hearing issues. Can this be an option - retain HDMI audio out and feed bluetooth at the same time. The receiver can accept audio from optical and analogue but of course that's no help with the Aura.

Well I must have a knackered box then because it refuses to connect to an Anker speaker or 2 other sets of bluetooth headphones. All connect without an issue to my LG tv.

How are you attempting to connect, and at what stage does it fail?
Are there any messages on screen?
